Mr. Bradrick Devon "BG" Greenlee

Bradrick Devon “BG” Greenlee of Johnson City, TN, passed away suddenly in a motorcycle crash on Thursday, June 30, 2022, in Elizabethton TN. He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Brad was born on November 18, 1974, to Anthony Wayne Greenlee and Mary Alice Greenlee in Johnson City, TN. He graduated from Science Hill High School in 1993. Brad’s love for building started at the age of twelve in his backyard with his childhood friend Charlie when they built a tree house out of sticks, glue, and anything else that would make it stick together or stand. After high school, Brad started working construction and maintenance jobs before opening 3D Renovation with his partner. He was an experienced and highly recommended Construction Tradesman. Brad’s motto was, “The only way to do good work is to love what you do.” In Brad’s free time, he loved to cook and entertain family and friends, garden, go bowling, play pool and golf, and he was an avid fan of the Florida Gators. He has loved riding bikes since he was a young boy. BMX racing, mini bikes, scooters, and motorcycles. His love for his children and other family and friends was unmistakable, and you felt blessed by his presence and care. Brad was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Wayne Greenlee, and grandparents, Jack and Ruth Greenlee and Sammie and Alice Simpson. He is survived by his three children, Khalil O’Ryen Scott, and mother Sherry Scott, Jeila Khiara Nicole Greenlee, and mother Pamela Greenlee, Avery Violet Bragg, and mother Becky Bragg; one nephew, Brian Edwards, Jr. and father Brian Edwards; his mother Mary Alice Greenlee; sister, Tiffany Nicole Greenlee; step-grandmother Carolyn Newman; three god-children, Briana Scott, Meleah Hansen, and Bryleigh Scott; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; special lifelong friends, Clinton Machen (cousin), Charlie Barnes, Brandon Scott, Billy Letcher, and Brian “JJ” Swartz; two special uncles, Uncle Dexter “Tex” and Uncle Sammie “Mammie”; and he will be missed by his granddog, Onze. The family would like to thank all that have supported us in so many ways during this time of loss, and a special thanks to Sherry Scott, Janice Murphy, Carolyn Newman, and Jackie Machen for making sure everything was taken care of. Celebration of life services for Mr. Bradrick Greenlee will be conducted Friday, July 8, 2022, at 1:30 pm from Grace Temple Church Eternal Life Center, 208 Garden Drive, Johnson City, TN. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Washington County Memory Gardens.
