Jackie M Hall

Mrs. Jacqueline Marie Hall, 79 years old passed away on August 12th due to many health complications. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama. She lived in Johnson City, TN. for many years and currently resided in Jonesborough, TN for most of her life. She was proceeded in death by both her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Eunice Moncrief, brothers Franchot Ernest, Francis Patton, sisters Audrey Moncrief, Mignon Charles, Candace Tabb and her daughter Vivian Mekonon. Also loving brother in law George Hall. She is survived by her loving, caring, soulmate and husband Mr. James L. Hall Jr., brother Michelle Moncrief (Barbara), Wendell Hall, Sisters Katie Dave, Stephanie Rodgers, Dawn Orie and Betty Lou Turner. Also her children, Andra Moncrief, Eunyce Saunders and Regina Raglin, step children, Juanell Leach, Angie Hall, Rodney Hall (Teresa). Grandchildren Brandon Grant, (Ashley), Maurice Moncrief (Tegan), Chivonne Blair(Thomas) Eric Raglin, Kristopher Grant, Jasmine Saunders, David Mekonon Jr., Rashida Bridwell, Omari Bridwell, Brittney Leach and Olivia Hall. Six great grandchildren, and many beloved cousins, close friends and family. Mrs. Jacqueline Hall was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who referred to her as “GranGran”. She was a proud student of Langston High School. While attending Langston High School she enjoyed many activities such as basketball, band member and drum major. She worked at ETSU, she also was skilled and worked as a computer key puncher and Nuclear Fuel Services as a computer technician. She was a faithful member of Bethel Christian Church in Jonesborough, TN and played the piano, organ and sang in the church choir. She also once attended Friendship Baptist Church for many years. She was involved and enjoyed being in many church prayer groups and was involved in many church committee’s she also helped in churches that provided and fed the homeless and assisted with the church food pantry. She did all this willingly from the goodness of her heart and faith in her soul. Her favorite Bible verse was, “This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it,” of which she did! Psalm 118:24 Please join us in celebrating her homegoing on Monday August 19th, at Bethel Christian Church. The visitation will be between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm and life services will follow starting at 1:00 pm. Her final resting place will be the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City at 2:30 pm.
