Archie Lee

Archie Lee (1924-2020) Our beloved father and grandfather will be greatly missed. Archie Lee was born in Mt. Carmel, Hawkins County, Tennessee to Will Lee and Della (Bradley) Lee. He was the fourth child born of eight siblings, all of whom preceded him in death. His sisters Viola and Francis, brother William Jr. (Buddy), brother John (Johnnie), brother Charles, brother James, and sister Laura were all deeply loved by their brother Archie Lee, and sorely missed. From these he has many nieces and nephews whom he fondly loved. Archie Lee was a WWII Army veteran and served his country with honor, dignity, courage and will be laid to rest at Mountain Home National Cemetery. His brothers and grandfather also served with great pride and he kept theirs and many others memories alive creating a legacy that spans five generations. A legacy of respect, pride, love, loyalty and devotion. He shared many memories of his life and times, allowing us to share these triumphs in spirit. Archie Lee had an extraordinary flair, being diverse in both skill and knowledge. He worked from the tender age of ten and over a life time to amass a wealth of experience, a true Renaissance Man. He retired from Mead and lived a long and blessed life here in Kingsport, Tennessee and we have been blessed by his presence in our lives. He leaves loving memories of grandpop's leather strap and loving arms rocking babies over generations. His daughter Margaret Ann (Neal) Murray-Bellinger, his son Michael S. Littlejohn 3rd and his daughter Kimberly Ann Bell will all suffer a monumental loss with his passing. His Grandson Brian Murray was devoted to his care and tasked himself to be caregiver, companion and protector of our beloved "Old Man" as Archie was born a man and was a sage among men. Whenever you sat down with Archie Lee class was in session. Mr. Lee lived to enjoy many generations of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren all of whom will be forever changed by his love of family.
